This “New Amsterdam Bike Helmet” is hand-painted in oil with scenes of the artist's Williamsburg/ Greenpoint neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. The trompe l'oeil tiles include images of water towers and the Williamsburg Bridge.

“I love bucolic scenes that were painted on delft tiles of the Dutch countryside, so I incorporated that approach into this helmet.”
